W.B. Graham papers, 1933-1936.

Papers relate to the Bureau's responses to reports of criminal activities, mainly in Louisiana. They consists of investigation reports; photographs, including photographs of officers burning a marijuana field; scrapbook (1933-1936, n.d.), and newspaper clippings concerning activities of criminals such as John Dillinger and Clyde Barrow. Other items and clippings pertain to the assassination and funeral of Louisiana Senator Huey P. Long.

John Herbert Dillinger (June 22, 1903 – July 22, 1934) was an American gangster of the Great Depression. He led a group known as the "Dillinger Gang" which was accused of robbing 24 banks and 4 police stations. Dillinger escaped from jail twice. Huey Long Pierce, Louisiana governor and United States senator, was born 30 August 1893, near Winnfield, Winn Parish, Louisiana, and died 10 September 1935. Clyde Barrow was the male half of the notorious criminal duo "Bonnie and Clyde." He was born outside of Telico, Texas in 1909. In 1932 he, Bonnie Parker, and bank robber Raymond Hamilton began the series of crimes that made them national celebrities.
